I'm so glad you are here to check out some recent work. I'm a Colorado wedding photographer that shoots all around the country. The blog is filled with full wedding and portrait sessions, and includes weddings planning tips and inspiration.
Patsy and Nick are the sweetest. These two decided to have an intimate get together in the gorgeous and spiritual Sedona, Arizona. They had a Chapel of the Holy Cross wedding, which sits on top of the hill overlooking the red rocks of the canyon. It sits almost in the middle of the 4 vortexes that surround the town, so the energy was booming. The chapel is a popular tourist destination, as this chapel’s modern architecture that sticks out of the red rocks really is a show-stopper.
The day started with the two getting ready separately, and Nick then coming over to Patsy’s aunts house for a first look. There the couple exchanged cards that they read to each other, and pool teared up a bit! We then headed to Bell Rock with their friends in the bridal party for some photos! It was a hot and sunny day, very typical for Sedona!
We then all left for the wedding at the Chapel of the Holy Cross, where they had a traditional mass. The ceremony ended just before sunset, and we were gifted with some amazing light and views that we could share with the whole guest list!
After that, we headed out for some sunset portraits nearby, where Patsy and Nick finally had some quiet alone time. Hiking amongst the Sedona red rocks in a wedding dress and suit was surreal, as it was completely quiet and peaceful. To top of the night, we headed to the beautiful Amara Resort where friends and family were waiting for them to celebrate. It was such a perfect day!
Fabulous photos of a beyond beautiful wedding.
