It was SO nice catching up with my past bride and groom, Kaitlin and Nate! When they told me they were expecting a baby boy this spring, I was so excited. Kaitlin asked about doing a newborn in home lifestyle photos when I was back on the West coast. Their house has beautiful light, which is a must for in home newborn photos. I always tell couples that we should use a bedroom that has the most light in it, and we can use a few different baby blankets as backdrops. We can also use multiple rooms, such as the nursery or some great window light in the living room.

It was so fun seeing Kaitlin and Nate as parents. And Nico was such a good baby for our newborn session! He smiled, slept, and tooted. All the expected baby stuff!

I did a few baby and family photo shoots while I was back in California during this trip. I’m finally back in Denver and would love to photograph more newborn in home lifestyle photos in my new city!
