I'm so glad you are here to check out some recent work. I'm a Colorado wedding photographer that shoots all around the country. The blog is filled with full wedding and portrait sessions, and includes weddings planning tips and inspiration.
Ari and Miguel are having a baby girl! These two decided to have a little ‘baby-moon’ in the Colorado mountains, and asked me to tag along for a Red Rocks maternity session! They were equally excited to be expecting their first born as they were to frolic in the snow for the first time! That’s right, these two have never seen snow before! They live in Miami, so the landscape and weather in Colorado is new and inviting to them!
The Red rocks is a great backdrop for maternity sessions! It’s perfect because of how easily accessible the trails can be. We decided to shoot at sunrise so that we could easily get parking spots and have less people on the trails. The sun, before it fully rose, gave a beautiful warm glow on the already pink-ish rocks. Luckily we have had a mild winter this year in Colorado, so even at sunrise, we weren’t freezing!
Ari picked the CUTEST outfit to start! I loved how her white jumpsuit popped against the warm colors of the rocks around us! Outfit choice is something to keep in mind when planning a Red Rocks maternity session! Their next outfit was also super cute! A fun wintery look, all bundled up in scarves and hats! (You don’t get to wear that too often in Miami!)
I was so honored to show them some of Colorado’s coolest landscapes. We really have it all here. I told them about the history of the Red Rocks Amphitheater as well! And that they couldn’t leave until they checked that out as well!
When thinking of spots for maternity sessions, I don’t want the poor mother-to-be to have to walk too far or hike up any scary rocks! So this location was absolutely perfect for them.
I’ve very excited for these two and their upcoming journey as parents! Congrats again, and it was so nice to meet you both!!!
