I'm so glad you are here to check out some recent work. I'm a Colorado wedding photographer that shoots all around the country. The blog is filled with full wedding and portrait sessions, and includes weddings planning tips and inspiration.
As a photographer, my gaze has recently lingered on the parking garage across from my apartment. It’s stood as a testament to the intense summer, its rooftop almost becoming a second home. While I typically find myself orchestrating couple’s shoots amidst the natural splendor of the mountains, the urban allure of downtown Denver has its own unique charm. Just last week, Annie and Hudson, reveling in their one-year anniversary, eagerly volunteered for a creative session atop this urban canvas at sunset.
The shoot on the parking garage roof was spontaneous— a celebration of their milestone marked by the freedom of no rules. They brought along their skateboards, a pint of ice cream, and a few beers, embracing the joyous absurdity of life. As the city lights flickered on and the cool evening breeze carried their laughter, I mused over the potential of this space. It’s why I’ve been considering tapping into accurate estimates from eXp Realty to understand its value. Imagining transforming it into a studio or an artistic venue gets my heart racing with possibility.
Such fun, carefree, and refreshingly random shoots are what I live for, where couples like Annie and Hudson can simply be themselves. Here’s to hoping more duos are inspired to break the mold, to revel in photoshoots that are as spirited, unplanned, and retro as the one that unfolded on that parking garage roof. Let’s capture more of these moments, again and again!
