Arrabelle Square Wedding with Vail Deck Ceremony | Sophia + Erik

Sophia and Erik hosted an Arrabelle Square Wedding with their ceremony up at the Vail Wedding Deck in the peak of the summer months. They kept it classic with blue hues, white roses and hydrangeas, and champagne flutes for everyone. They had the best 360 degree views of the Rocky Mountains at the top of Vail mountain, and then partied the night away in the heart of Lionshead village at the Arrabelle square! Wildflowers and wind in the veil for the extra spice for their big day.

Arrabelle Square Weddings are a part of the Vail Resorts venue options. Vail is a great destination for weddings- there is so much to do, see, eat, and fun places to stay. It’s a popular wedding destination location as it can provide great views, adventure, and luxury to couples’ guest’s experiences. The Arrabelle in particular sits right in the heart of this quaint ski village. It is a luxury resort that is at the bottom of the Eagle Bahn gondola in Lionshead Village. Weddings at the Arrabelle are held in the square just outside the hotel’s lobby, and can accommodate up to 200 guests!

Getting Ready Space

Most couples will choose to get ready in one of the hotel rooms at the Arrabelle resort. This luxury hotel is very comfortable and boasts views out of every window. Sophia used a larger suite within the resort for her stay. It had a large living space and and extra bathroom for her gals and glam team to help her get ready before the wedding.

Ceremony Space- The Vail Wedding Deck

Please note that the Vail Wedding Deck and the Arrabelle Square are two different venues that are both owned by Vail Resorts. They are booked separately but, when done so, are a GREAT combo to have for a lovely wedding! The wedding deck can be added on to your package for ceremony usage for around $5,000. This would include the Eagle Bahn gondola access for all of your guests and vendors. The gondola is located about a 5 minute walk from the Arrabelle’s lobby. The ride up will take about 10-15 mins to get to the top! The gondola’s are spacious and provide a really cool and unique experience for your guests. Once offloaded, guests will walk a short distance up the hill to the amphitheater. You will be given insane vast views of the Gore Mountain Range and Mt. Holy Cross!

Reception Space- Arrabelle Square

The Arrabelle Resort sits in the heart of Lionshead Village of Vail. It is truly the center of the small city, with other resorts having been built up (and inspired by) around it. It’s old European charm and luxury comfort make it a sought after style, and yet it’s central location makes it a perfect venue to host a wedding. Just outside of the resorts lobby is the square. During the winter months, it gets converted to a ice skating rink, and when not used for private events, it is used as a central hub of activities and festivals in the summer time. Tented to be prepared for all weather conditions, it makes for a great wedding reception venue in the mountains.

Arrabelle Square Wedding venue pricing;

As of 2024, the pricing on their website states that you will be spending around $25,000 for the venue and your food and beverage minimum. This price would go up for a larger guest count. Note that this is for the Arrabelle RECEPTION venue, and that using the Vail wedding deck is an additional cost. Please always refer back to the venue’s main person of contact for an updated pricing list!

What’s included in a Arrabelle Square wedding package;

The $25,000 mentioned above would include the use of the tented square just outside of the Arrabelle resorts lobby. It also includes chairs, linens, stemware, chinaware, and cutlery. It ALSO includes the ceremony lawn space next to the gondola. If you are not using this space for your actually ceremony, then it makes for the perfect cocktail hour spot lawn!
