Florals are that 'secret sauce' to all weddings. They add a little "je ne said quoi" to the environment. The creativity these artists have can really blow my mind! They have a vision that elevates a couple's dream wedding and takes it to that next level.

"My dream wedding is one where the couple is creative and open to ideas and where all vendors are encouraged to connect and create together, making an unforgettable, uniquely tailored experience."

Advice The Story of Flowers would give to couples planning their wedding;

"Be intentional. Don't settle for a generic floral and decor, let your vendors in on your love story, who you are as people, and what you like to do together. These little details can spark ideas that will make your wedding feel really fresh, unique, and personal, creating an atmosphere that will only enhance the experience and memories to come for you and your guests. Try to stay focused on having a good time and making lasting memories rather than creating a performative event meant only to impress. When your focus is the experience, your wedding can be a lasting gift to everyone involved as well as a celebration of your love. "

Why they love their job;

"The best part of my job is working so closely with natures cycles and seasons. Floral is - at its best - a snapshot of the time and place of an event, making it even more unique and special when seasonal, local product is used."

"I have no interest in churning out generic designs just for profit. My team is made up of freelance designers who are enamored with flowers. We design everything with love, intention, and creativity, taking cue from nature and each unique flower. We offer high-concept, fully custom floral design with conscious practices. We source locally and seasonally, thoughtfully mitigate as much waste as possible, and never use toxic floral foam."

She truly does go above and beyond for couples, because she knows how much impact floral can have on a wedding day. She is obsessed with her job. She is hyper focused on every tiny detail to make sure that everything is cohesive and gorgeous on the day of the wedding. She genuinely lives, eats, and breathes this work. "Colorado couples rock! They are usually fairly laid back and genuinely want my honest design opinions, which is amazing."

Advice Eleven Blooms Floral Studio would give to couples planning their wedding;

"Two things!;
1) Don't wait until the last minute to book your florist. The earlier, the better. Especially if you have someone in mind.
2) You do you! Don't let traditions that you may not even be into dictate decisions for your day. If you hate the bouquet toss tradition, just don't do it. Be bold! Be crazy! Or be classic. Just make your day exactly how YOU want it to be regardless of what anyone else thinks.

Why she loves her job;

Allison thinks that the best part of her job is seeing every bit of physical, mental, and emotional investment all culminate into a realized vision that was only once a spark of a thought. She thinks that creating something from nothing is an incredible thing to get to do for a living.

"This is one of those questions that may or may not change on the daily... at this moment it's the minimalist-romantic-ethereal look but tomorrow it could be a luxe-modern-rich autumn look... I can definitely say it would be in a clear top tent with soft lighting in a meadow on a late summer day... when I got married it was that garden-vintage look, so it definitely changes all the time!! I am seriously always dreaming!!"

Advice Palmer Flowers would give to couples planning their wedding;

"Some advice that I would give to couples that are planning a wedding is to trust your florist! Yes, I know easier said than done but we can execute your vision with more precision if you give us the creative freedom to do so. "

Why they love their job;

"The best part of our job is definitely getting to see everything that the couple has planned come together on the wedding day! There is so much time and effort that we put in to each of our couples vision that when we get to see it all come to life there is no greater feeling!"

"What makes us a top wedding vendor in Colorado is the dedication, focus and drive we bring to every wedding and event that we are apart of. With a team of 10 strong women we are able to take any vision a bride has and bring it to life and exceed the expectations! We are strategic, passionate creators who always strive to be better at what we do and whom always goes above and beyond for every couple! We are not dedicated to one certain aesthetic which makes us able to create any and all looks, we love that we get to do something different every week; it keeps the job interesting and fun!"

"I love that my clients are low key and down to earth, but still extremely fashion forward and "cool"! They trust us to make design choices. CO couples have a wide variety of styles and designs that inspire them, which keeps my job fun and challenging.

Advice Blush and Bay would give to couples planning their wedding;

"Timeline- start the floral process early so your floral designer can be a part of the design process with your planner and everything ties together!
Budget- If you value florals and how they can transform the look of your event, budget for them. There is an immense labor of love that goes into floral design and premium and locally grown flowers play a large role in the overall look of your arrangements. If possible, reuse items from ceremony to reception so you can get the most for your money!

Why she loves her job;

"I love designing proposals, picking out unique, local florals from the farms and putting together centerpieces, but my favorite part is getting onsite and putting everything together to transform a space and then seeing the client experience it all, too!

Advice Project Florals would give to couples planning their wedding;

"If you are planning for a peak-season wedding (Colorado Fall!), plan to book your florist 9+months out to make sure they are available for your date!"

Why they love their job;

"Falling in-love with couples who are in-love, and getting excited for their special day with them. We're kind of magic makers - we have the best job!" They describe their dream wedding to work for as fun, spunky couples who value creativity and have dreamed of working with them! It is not always about florals being huge, or over-the-top, as much as it is about doing something new and doing it well. They are all about couples who know who they are and aren't afraid to show that at their wedding - they love adding personal {quirky} touches!

Project Floral has super high standards for customer service. They go alongside their couples to make the process creative, fun, and stress-free. Their floral installations and passion for over-the-table florals. They love helping couples dream up designs that have high-impact!

"Colorado couples are pretty easy going and love embracing the natural beauty of our surroundings."

"Choose statement pieces rather than what you are 'supposed to have'. A unique statement arbor or floral photo booth backdrop will make more of an impact than 20 boutonnières."
