Boulder Flatirons Vista Engagement Session | Chelsea + Chris

Chelsea and Chris are two dear friends of mine. So when they got engaged, I knew I wanted to gift them an engagement session. Chelsea has such a great sense of style, so when we brainstormed a spot for their photos, she would send me a few mood boards. What I gathered was that they wanted timeless, and a space that didn’t seem “cliché” Colorado. They wanted it to be minimalistic. She shared images of a plain wheat field that she loved, and I instantly thought of the Boulder Flatirons Vista trailhead would work perfectly.

They also wanted to incorporate the pup, Ziggy, into the shoot! Ziggy is a good boy who had a rough last year, so it means to world to them that he was present for an important event in their lives! Dogs mean so much to us, I understand why so many people want to bring their pup along for their engagement session. Here is a helpful post on tips for engagement photos with dogs!

Just a reminder, that when taking photographs in Boulder, you must get a photo permit. It is very easy to do and allows you to shoot in the OSMP (Open Space Mountain Parks).
