I'm so glad you are here to check out some recent work. I'm a Colorado wedding photographer that shoots all around the country. The blog is filled with full wedding and portrait sessions, and includes weddings planning tips and inspiration.
On a rainy autumn day, Christie and Sam said their vows overlooking the football field at CU Boulder and the flatirons at the Folsom Field Events wedding venue. Looking at the forecast as the big day approached, we worried how to go about the event, as most of it was planned to be outside on the overlook deck named the Champions Center Terrace. The fog rolled in, covering most of the views of the Flatirons, which was the main focal point of the beautiful views from the venue. Christie and Sam didn’t seem to mind about the weather one bit, as their friends and family were gathering to witness their wedding vows. Luckily, as the ceremony time get nearer, the fog seemed to part in just the right places to give us some epic views of the flatirons!
Folsom Field Events worked perfectly to move their originally planned outdoor event, into an indoor event in their main conference area. Their in-house catering team took care of all the guests, and the live band kept everyone on their feet all night! Nestled at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, and right in the center of the fun town on Boulder, Colorado, this venue is such a great option for couples looking to host both large or more intimate weddings.
A little more info about the venue; Folsom Field Events can host weddings up to 200 people, but also provide more intimate experiences for smaller gigs as well. It is on the CU Boulder Campus, and all contact will be made through the school. Couples can use the VIP suites on the top floor to get ready in, which is a very unique experience! A lot of couples also choose to have their “first look” right on the field!
