Kelsey and Ben have a love that spans across two countries. Kelsey, living in Kansas City, was not expecting to fall in love with Ben, the British boy who came from the UK to help at her work site with a new system implementation. It was instant attraction and soon enough, they were long distance dating. They’ve since both moved to each others’ countries at least once and they now reside in the U.S., hence choosing to host a Four Seasons Vail wedding for their friends and family!
They chose the most beautiful backdrop for their guests to meet and mingle in the mountains to celebrate their love. They decided that the Four Season in Vail as it has all the bells and whistles! It’s luxurious and fun, beautiful and serene. Their guests had lots to do in town while visiting as well. Check out their beautiful day below!

Four Seasons Vail is located right in the heart of Vail. Its actually one of the first establishments you’ll run into when getting off of i70. The luxury hotel sits at the base of Vail mountain, and is walking distance to Vail Village and all of the great restaurants that Vail has to offer. Vail is a great town to host weddings, especially higher end luxury weddings as their is just so much to offer in the cute mountain town. The city sits almost in the center of the state, sitting within the Rocky mountains. It’s between Aspen, Denver, Steamboat, and Breckenridge. There are shuttles from the Denver airport that can bring you to Four Seasons, so you wont need to rent a car. There is also a shuttle within the village that can bring you to other key stops around the town.
The suites at the Four Seasons are great for getting ready rooms. The large windows bring in a beautiful soft light, and most rooms will also have a small balcony. For weddings, the hotel does offer a ‘bridal room’ down by the main ballroom to store wedding party belongings during the event.
The most iconic location to host your wedding ceremony at the Four Seasons Vail is over the pool! The hotel shuts down the pool a few hours before your ceremony start time to set up the ‘bridge’. This allows you and your wedding party and family members to walk down the aisle over the water! Stone aisles on each side are set for guests’ chairs, and the vows are usually said under the fireplace stone canopy. There is an amazing viewpoint of the entire ceremony spot from the hotel bar’s balcony, two stories up. It’s a very dramatic photo for the recessional.
There are a few locations around the hotel’s property and within walking distance of the Four Seasons that are great for photos. There is a beautiful stone staircase by the pool that is perfect for a dramatic first look. There is also a small aspen garden on the side of the hotel which works great for wedding party portraits. From there the entrance to the village is just a block away! I’ve found some fun corners around town that were lovely for portraits too.
Four Seasons Vail has a grand ballroom that can host up to 200 guests and even a live band! This ballroom is connected to another area that works well for a cocktail hour that opens up to a stone patio. The ballroom is large and cozy and great for late night partying!
To privatize the pool, you’ll be looking at around $15,000 for peak season. There is an additional $5,000-8,000 to use the facilities. Food and beverage packages will go for around $300 per person plus any tax and gratuity.
If you enjoyed Kelsey and Ben’s Four Seasons Vail wedding, then I think you’d love this Greystone Castle wedding, as well as this Vail Winter Elopement at the Four Seasons.
