I'm so glad you are here to check out some recent work. I'm a Colorado wedding photographer that shoots all around the country. The blog is filled with full wedding and portrait sessions, and includes weddings planning tips and inspiration.
This was an ideal day for a Flagstaff Mountain wedding! Kelsey + Tyler drove all the way out from Kansas City to the Rocky Mountains so they could say their vows in the most epic scenery! They had been planning their wedding for over a year, and then the pandemic hit. After thinking of all their options for their big day, they decided to scale down but to still move forward! They drove the long haul to the mountains of Colorado, and we were able to get them dressed up in their wedding gear a few days early, so that we could take some epic bridal portraits in Rocky Mountain National Park! We drove up Trail Ridge Road at sunset and explored the area. The entire time we kept saying “woooow!” as they sky went from blue, to orange, to pink.
Kelsey describes how she and Tyler met: “We first met in high school through mutual friends the summer before I left for college. Tyler is a year younger than me. Although I had a crush on him I friend zoned him since I was moving to Springfield, Missouri. The next three years we attended different colleges but talked almost every day. He was my best friend during this time. His last year of college he decided to transfer to my college, Missouri State. The rest is pretty much history. We started dating the day he moved to Springfield and we have never looked back.”
The next day, the rest of their friends and family came into town. Everyone was staying in Boulder, and that weekend everyone gathered at the Flagstaff Mountain House for the ceremony where they exchanged teary vows. It was such a beautiful moment! They all then drank wine and dined on the patio. Cake was cut and served right as the sun was setting behind the mountains and I think this was everything Kelsey + Tyler were hoping for! Congrats again!
