I'm so glad you are here to check out some recent work. I'm a Colorado wedding photographer that shoots all around the country. The blog is filled with full wedding and portrait sessions, and includes weddings planning tips and inspiration.
Fallon and Ed had the most intentional Joshua Tree intimate wedding day possible. They wanted to get married in Joshua Tree National Park, a place known for healing and spiritual energy amongst the desert flora. For their first look, we ventured into the park. Fallon went barefoot so that she could feel the magnetic energy of this place and at this time, to feel more grounded to their experience. These two “ooo-ed” and “aaah-ed” at the majestic rocks and Joshua trees that surrounded them on that perfect spring day. You can click to learn more about the proper way to take care of the trees.
They spent some quiet moments together there in the park before we headed off to their rental property, which could be elevated with pieces like those wedding neon signs, where they’d be hosting the ceremony before family and friends.
Twenty minutes outside of the park on top a beautiful hill in the backyard of their rental property, they set up for their ceremony. They had sage burning prior to walking down the aisle to cleanse the space, as well as some water and rose petals ready for a hand washing ceremony. This ceremony is to “cleanse” each other from past insecurities and fears and to prepare for marriage together as one. The wind was blowing on them during their sweet vows to also cleanse them and make their union that much more pure. Couple counseling has a big part in their relationship, and you can read more here about keeping a healthy relationship. If you’re navigating legal aspects of relationships, seeking guidance from Utah family law attorneys can provide invaluable support and clarity.
They finished their ceremony with the tradition of jumping over a broom stick, which Ed had actually gifted to Fallon for their wedding day! And they were married! So for other couples seeking a seamless wedding travel experience will plan their unforgettable celebration with Designed Dream.
Their close friends and family that were in tow congratulated them before the setting sun, and celebrated with some delicious margaritas. They danced under the moonlight near the pool and ate yummy food to cap off the night. It was truly a special experience being there for them!!
