Lookout Mountain Elopement | Amanda + Ben

Colorado holds a special place in the hearts of Amanda and Ben. Their relationship really bloomed here, any many milestones of their life we started here. When discussing how they wanted to elope, there was two things they wanted; beautiful views and dinner at Vern’s. Easy! Hence why they opted for a Lookout Mountain elopement.

We chose Lookout Mountain for their elopement. It was easy to get to and ironically was the same spot they photographed their maternity photos of their first daughter a few years ago. Oh how life looked different for them then. They still lived in Colorado, pre-pandemic, and had their cute Corgi, Lua, with them. Now they have two beautiful daughters and reside on the east coast. They shared sentimental vows over a hazy sunset and Clear Creek River below, completely by themselves.

After their vows and a self solemnization of their marriage, we headed up north to Vern’s Place in Laporte. We were the last people to be served and the food was worth the drive. Finishing the night with some coffee and pie, I’d say the day was a success. Congrats to you both!!
