I'm so glad you are here to check out some recent work. I'm a Colorado wedding photographer that shoots all around the country. The blog is filled with full wedding and portrait sessions, and includes weddings planning tips and inspiration.
Andrea and Matthew had the most beautiful day for their Lower Spruce Mountain Ranch wedding! When originally planning the vision for their day, they wanted a classic look of all white florals and black tie attire from guests. They wanted the beauty of the venue to speak for itself. (And trust me, it does!). But at the last minute, they called Laura from Blush and Bay (their florist) for a little switch up; they wanted color! I’m so glad they went this route! The spring colors of purple and pink and yellows and greens really brightened up the day! The venue grounds were lush and shining just for these two!
Lower Spruce Mountain Ranch is a part of a bigger ranch with another venue on the property. After working at weddings on both sites, I find that the Lower ranch is a bit more intimate. It feels a little more ‘enclosed’ in the ceremony field, and the getting ready space is a little more personal and has more character. The reception barn is still large and can accommodate a larger group, and there is still plenty of space outside to host a raging dance floor party. It’s remote and defines Colorado in every way.
If you’re interested in hosting a Lower Spruce Mountain Ranch wedding, know that’ll you can have up to 250 guests, are given access to two large getting ready spaces, ceremony and reception chairs, the flower gardens, a cocktail barn, and up to 11 hours of venue usage! It’s only about an hour from downtown Denver and is an excellent option for larger group weddings that still want to feel intimate and romantic.
