Mount Falcon West at Sunset Engagement Session | Danielle + Alex

Danielle and Alex were such a pleasant surprise for me at the end of a crazy year. With a lot of couples postponing their weddings for a later date, these two called me up and asked if I was available for their wedding….in 3 months! Yes please! So we soon after met up at Mount Falcon West at sunset for their engagement session!

I love sharing new places and especially fun mountains with great trails to couples. They kept saying “we need to come back here!”. Mount Falcon West is the perfect backdrop for great mountain views at sunset that isn’t too far from downtown Denver. The trails actually can bring you all the way to red rocks in Morrison! There is a lot to explore!

We first explored some rocks with a great overlook of the sunset on the mountains. We then wandered down the trails a bit to find a beautiful open meadow with equally amazing views! I love shooting engagement sessions in fields, because it really lets the couple open up and run around and play!

They also brought one of their favorite drinks, hard Kombucha! They opened one up and enjoyed it as the sun set behind them. They are such a chill and relaxed couple, I’m stoked for their winter wedding coming up! They love skiing and snowboarding so that is a little hint as to what expect for their big day!
