Rita and Gabe had a elegant Pauline Chapel wedding ceremony at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs at the end of spring. Their celebration was planned to immediately follow their US Air Force Academy graduation. All of their friends who also had their graduation were in attendance, as well as family and other friends. While living in Colorado Springs, it made sense to choose the luxurious Broadmoor Resort for their event. On the edge of the resorts grounds in the intimate Pauline Chapel.
The Pauline Chapel was built in 1919 with a Spanish Mission style design. It was outfitted with many religious art and artifacts from across Europe. The chapel is small and quaint, and quite peaceful once you step inside. It can seat about 100 attendees comfortably. It is an easy walk away from some of the main areas of the Broadmoor, and guests were ushered back to the main part of the resort for the rest of the evenings activities.
Rita and Gabe held their wedding reception in the main ballroom of the Broadmoor, and guests could mingle around outside of the ballroom to the other areas of the venue such as the outdoor balcony overlooking the grand front lawn. The entire day rain clouds tempted to hit, but they never came down on us. It was a glorious and perfect day for the two. Then danced all night in the ballroom with those closest to them. It was truly a prefect and elegant evening!
