The Elizabeth Hotel wedding venue in Fort Collins might be a new favorite spot of mine for weddings! Fort Collins is somewhat out of the way for me coming from Denver. It is about an hour north of the capitol city. But the Elizabeth is so central to the city! It sits right on the edge of Old Town. And has rooftop views, a beautiful lounge, and such great energy.
If you’re wondering a bit more about planning a wedding at the Elizabeth, I gotchu.
To get an exact price range, you will have to reach out to the event staff yourself. Expect anywhere from $15-25k depending on time of year and size of wedding. The typical hotel wedding package will usually come with the standard stuff- chairs, tables, linens, rehearsal space, setup and breakdown, and a food and beverage menu.
One of my favorite things about the Elizabeth Hotel wedding venue is the *options* on different on-site spaces to choose from. Which location you pick will really depend on guest count, and *vibes*.
Terrace: a great spot for ceremonies! Insane views of downtown, and large seating area. It is located on the 2nd floor and is fully outside.
Sunset Lounge: perfect for cocktail hour. You can watch the sunset on the Rocky Mountains in the distance and you sip on fun cocktails from the bar. It really is a modern ‘lounge’ vibe with lots of window light and comfy couches.
The Magic Rat: a fun, eclectic reception space. Perfectly set up for live music and a large band. (There is a stage!). The marquee bar can even display a cute saying or your names on it for you! It is dark and moody and so fun
The Alley: a fun and unique ceremony spot. This area DOES require an extra permit though! It sits right outside of the Magic Rat, and is usually shaded! Gives more of a urban vibe.
Conference room: The hotel does have some conference rooms
Getting Ready Spaces: The hotel has suite options! I always encourage couples to get a LARGE getting ready room, preferably with lots of great window light. I found their suites are great for this!
Live music: The Magic Rat is IDEAL for a live music band! There is a built in stage in the venue space. Of course, this stage can be used for anything you’d like if a live band is not your vision.
Lobby grand staircase: Right as you walk in the front door, the first thing you will notice is the grand staircase. This makes an epic first look spot.
Alley way: The alley is *usually* always shaded, even in the summer solstice time! This alley is technically not part of the hotel, so a permit will be needed to “reserve” it for private events, but couples and wedding parties can use it freely at any time! The public will also have access to it if no permit is obtained.
Parking: The Elizabeth Hotel is located directly next to a large public parking garage. Expect to pay around $20ish dollars for a full day of parking. Metered street parking is also available.
