Rhett and Adam decided to host their Boulder Country Club wedding for their family and friends at the tail end of summer. Rhett grew up on the country club’s golf course….literally. Her parents still live in her childhood home with the back yard that faces the green. It seemed fitting to celebrate here! Rhett stepped into her wedding dress in her old childhood room, and walked downstairs to see her father in the living room. Adam waiting outside in the backyard for their first look. It was so cute. Their dogs were there to wish them a congratulations as well.
Rhett and Adam worked together, but actually met via a friend. “We discovered we both loved musicals, skiing, and dogs, and it went from there!”, recalls Rhett. For the proposal, the pair was in Scotland. They were staying on Islay for the night and went up to a lookout on the cliffs in the morning before they took the ferry back to the mainland. The cliffs have a special place in their hearts because they are from Rhett’s favorite scene in Parks and Recreation. How precious!
More about Boulder Country Club Weddings;
The Boulder Country Club is a great spot for weddings as its location is ideal, the food is delicious, and the views are spectacular! The CC is about a 10 minute drive from downtown Boulder, CO. They entire club was recently renovated back in 2020, so all of the facilities are top notch. A well manicured lawn sets the scene for a gorgeous shaded ceremony location a short walk from the country club’s doors. Inside, there is a large getting ready area for the couple and their wedding party. There are a few rooms indoors that can all be connected to make a larger area for a seated reception. The bar is set both in and outdoors, making a cocktail hour very versatile defendant on weather. All in all, it’s a great space! The Boulder Country Club can host about 150 comfortably, and will run about $20,000 for site fees and food and beverage minimums.
