I'm so glad you are here to check out some recent work. I'm a Colorado wedding photographer that shoots all around the country. The blog is filled with full wedding and portrait sessions, and includes weddings planning tips and inspiration.
Tiffany and Jed got married in a Washington Park Boathouse wedding at the tail end of summer and it was all things fairytale and magical. The sun was out, the friends were in town, and the food was perfection. These two theatre cuties met in Chicago and only started dating after Jed’s second attempt at asking Tiffany out. (A tale as old as time).
Their wedding day was filled with intention and community. They carefully picked the Washington Park Boathouse for their wedding venue as that park has a lot of sentimental meaning for them. It’s beauty changes with the seasons, and they picked a perfect date for lush greens and good weather. Their ceremony was held just a few feet from the flower gardens, and then guests migrated over to the boathouse for cocktails and delicious pizza. The views from inside the boathouse overlooked the water, the mountains, and downtown Denver. These two (and all of their guests might I add), know how to light up a dance floor. They had the party lasting all night long. Congrats again, you two!
More about Washington Park Boathouse weddings;
Originally built in 1913 and renovated in 2012, the Washington Park boathouse is a Colorado State Historic site that only permits one event per day. Events are only held seasonally, between April and October. To get a permit, you must book a reservation the prior year. Reservations open on November 1st and they are first come- first serve. There is a 150 person capacity, and fees will run you about $1,000 to rent the space. On site, the venue has bathrooms, and a small changing area on the bottom level of the building. For catering, all caterers must provide their own catering stations and generator/power.
