Lauren and Adam hosted the most elegant Denver Botanic Gardens wedding I have ever seen! It was giving Poetcare wedding aesthetic. The gardens were literally transformed into an upscale florists dream with bird motifs, soft pastels with pops of accents, fun textures, creative layering, and thoughtful cocktails. It was romantic, classy, and elevated. The two had their first look near the Romantic Gardens, where they shared their vows for their ceremony. Guests were then ushered through the facility to the Annuals Garden and Pavilion for a fun cocktail hour cantilevered over a pond! Music was softly playing as the sun started to get lower in the sky, and guests were once again moved into the reception area under the pavilion. Toasts were shared, tears were shed, and warm love filled the whole space. Late night, everyone headed out to Marnie’s Pavilion to dance the night away and feast on late night snacks! The party never seemed to end!

This specific question would depend on which venue you chose to use on site. (See third question below). There are smaller, more intimate options for elopement style ceremonies, which would cost significantly less. The other larger capacity areas will have costs ranging from $5,000-9,000 depending on which location(s), and day of the week, and time of the year. Expect the peak season/days of the week to be on the higher end of that range.
Again, venue dependent, but you can expect a wedding like Lauren and Adam’s to have a capacity of about 100 guests.
There are quite a few options for ceremony and reception! Lauren and Adam got married at the Romantic Gardens, with their reception and cocktail hour at the Annuals Garden and Pavilion. They had their late night dancing inside Marnine’s Pavilion. Other popular locations are the Woodland Mosaic and Solarium, the West Terrace, the Amphitheater Tent, the Orangery, Mitchell Hall, and Gates Hall.
There are a few restrictions at the Denver Botanic Gardens. One in particular is that late night music and dancing has to be indoors.
Weddings can be all year round at the gardens! There are of course less options for winter weddings. I have been lucky enough to photograph weddings during all four seasons at the gardens, and they each of their own charm. Spring has beautiful cherry blossoms, summer is hot and full of life, fall has gorgeous autumn leaf colors, and winter has a unique cozy charm.
