TPC Colorado Wedding | Liz + Jackson

When Liz first described their vision for their TPC Colorado wedding, I was so excited! They wanted, classic, timeless, and elegant. I think this day delivered. The food, the views, the VEIL, and that insane sunset over the golf course!

We started the morning in the bridal suite, where Liz’s mom and sister helped her into her ball gown and custom veil by Anabella Poletti. The boys got to enjoy a golf simulator before getting dressed in the library. The library is fun because not only does it have the main views of the golf course and Rocky Mountains in the distance, but it has a secret door that leads to the main ballroom.

Before the ceremony, we did a first look with Jackson and Liz on the ceremony lawn over looking the mountains. Their pup came to say hi too! They exchanged some private vows before we took portraits with the wedding party and immediate family. They also opted for a pre-ceremony cocktail hour on the side patio before the main event took place!

Guests were seated in the warm sun on the ceremony lawn for the ceremony. Liz was so elegant walking down the aisle with her father and her blusher of her veil covering her face. Jackson had tears in his eyes as she walked towards him. A perfect cloud cover came just in time for the special ceremony, for a lovely, moody, vibe. When they said I do, the crowd erupted in applause and everyone enjoyed cocktail hour on the lawn and patio.

Reception was inside the main ballroom, steps away from the ceremony lawn. Cocktails and beers were flowing as the bride and groom entered with cheers! The rest of the evening was such a blur- happy tears, lots of laughs, and fun dancing all night long. Congrats to the happy couple!

A little bit about the TPC Colorado:

TPC Colorado is a championship golf club operated by the PGA TOUR’s TPC Network, which means the grounds are maintained to an exceptionally high standard year-round. But make no mistake — this is not a stuffy private club experience. It’s a full-service wedding venue with a warmth and hospitality that couples rave about consistently.

TPC Colorado at Heron Lakes in Berthoud is tucked between Loveland and Longmont along the northern Front Range. It’s part of a stunning planned development surrounded by open space, water features, and those iconic Rocky Mountain views you came to Colorado for.

For couples in the Denver metro area, it’s a genuinely easy drive — about an hour north on I-25. For out-of-state guests, it’s close to Fort Collins (roughly 30 minutes) and has reasonable access to Denver International Airport. The location hits a sweet spot that a lot of Northern Colorado wedding venues don’t: it feels removed and special — like you’ve arrived somewhere — without being inconvenient for anyone trying to get there.

TPC Colorado weddings offer seven event locations, which gives you genuine flexibility depending on the size and style of your wedding.

The Event Lawn
The outdoor ceremony space is the showstopper, and the most popular option. It’s a beautifully maintained lawn framed by the golf course and those incredible Rocky Mountain views. Longs Peak sits directly behind your altar. I have photographed ceremonies at a lot of Colorado venues, and few give you a natural backdrop quite like this one. The light out here in the late afternoon is extraordinary.

The Longs Peak Ballroom
The indoor reception space is a 5,000-square-foot ballroom with dark wood detailing, high ceilings, and large windows that face the mountains. The windows do a lot of work — even inside, you’re never far from the view. The combination of the dark wood tones and the natural light creates a space that photographs beautifully without needing to be heavily styled. This space accommodate up to 200-250 guests.

The Covered Patio
The covered patio sits between the ceremony and reception spaces and is a natural home for cocktail hour. Fire pits dot the space, which makes it work beautifully in shoulder seasons when evenings get cool.

Private Getting-Ready Suites
TPC Colorado has both a bridal suite and a groom suite on property, which is something I always appreciate as a photographer. Dedicated getting-ready spaces with good light and enough room for a full bridal party make those morning hours so much smoother.

Should you get married at the TPC Colorado?

TPC Colorado is a particularly good fit if you:

– Want jaw-dropping mountain views without sacrificing elegance or amenities
– Are planning a wedding in the 100–300+ guest range (the Longs Peak Ballroom accommodates large receptions beautifully)
– Want a full-service venue where catering, bar, and coordination are handled in-house at a high level
– Are based in or near Northern Colorado — Fort Collins, Loveland, Longmont, Greeley, Boulder — or are planning a destination Colorado wedding
– Care deeply about how your venue photographs (it will not disappoint)

Just a heads up- TPC Colorado weddings tend to book photographers early, especially for peak summer and fall dates. If you’re still in the planning stages, I’d encourage you to reach out sooner rather than later. Peak season tends to be April–October and December
