I'm so glad you are here to check out some recent work. I'm a Colorado wedding photographer that shoots all around the country. The blog is filled with full wedding and portrait sessions, and includes weddings planning tips and inspiration.
Kate and Ruben had the most magical Villa Parker wedding at the start of Memorial Day weekend. They lucked out on weather, as storm clouds danced around them all day, (making for some GORG photo light!), and then the sun popped out for dinner at sunset time.
These two fell in love in Sevilla, Spain, and their love has been a movie-like romance ever since. They even named their adorable pup Sevy after the Spanish city!! While their love story is amazing, their wedding planning got to be pretty stressful. About two months before their big day, their original wedding venue ending up cancelling on them! They called around and found Villa Parker, and it was magically available to them. I think this little mishap actually worked out in their favor! Their day was FLAWLESS from start to finish! And by finish, I am definitely referencing their cookie wall!

I’d highly recommend this venue to all my couples. Not only is it GORGEOUS, but the ease of this venue from it’s flow, it’s friendly staff, and the many picturesque photo locations on site make it a great find! It is located only 30 mins from downtown Denver, which makes it on my list of Best Denver Wedding Venues. The Italian/Mediterranean villa was once privately owned by a family. Yes, this was someone’s HOUSE. The indoor reception ballroom used to be an in-ground pool. Not too shabby. It has since been converted to the perfect dance floor for some post reception fun, but it also serves as a great rain option for indoors if need be.
Speaking of location options, if you’re not pushed inside due to bad weather, the outside grounds are absolutely stunning. The most popular spot for a ceremony location would be where Kate and Ruben did theirs; in the courtyard in front of the main entrance. Others have had ceremonies by the front gate, or the main lawn. Kate and Ruben used the main lawn as their cocktail hour space, as it was right near the courtyard and made for an easy transition for guests.
For reception, most couples use the back patio area, which is lovely shaded courtyard amongst the garden, but also is in the viewing area of the sunset to the west! Others have had their reception indoors in the main ballroom as well, and used the back patio as cocktail hour. There is no wrong way to do it! Your coordinator might know what would be the best flow for your wedding depending on your wedding size. The venue is suited to host a capacity of 200 guests.
There are also two large getting ready rooms for couples and their respective wedding party members to get ready and dressed in.
Villa Parker weddings can happen year round! Unlike most mountain venues, this venue is not a seasonal venue! So if you’re looking for a winter Colorado wedding venue, or a venue with off-season rates, Villa Parker is a great option for you. For peak season rates, expect anywhere from $5k-8k depending on day of the week. For an off season wedding, it will run you around $3,750-6,750.
These prices will include quite a few things. First, you will get a planner from Grace and Co Wedding + Event Design! You also get all inclusive access to the venue for 12 hours on your wedding day. Villa Parker also includes wood chiavari chairs, as well as white ceremony chairs, and plenty of different size options for reception tables.
It’s an absolutely stunning venue, and I can’t wait to work there again!
