Colorado wedding venues with lodging are so trendy right now! One of the best parts about hosting a wedding is getting all of your friends and family together in one place for a whole weekend. Especially when there has been a global pandemic like Covid-19, it’s best to keep all your guests in one place and ‘semi-quarantined’ with each other! That is why a lot of couples these days are on the search for a perfect venue that they can rent out that will lodge everyone on site. Colorado is the perfect place for this as it is a central location in the United States, and offers EVERYTHING from hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and much more! So I have pulled together the ultimate list of the best glamping Colorado wedding venues with lodging for guests!
Now, not all of these venues require that your guests need to go ‘glamping‘. The best part about these locations is that they offer multiple options of lodging on site! Some have everything from luxury cabins, bubble tents, tipis, full family lodges, and much more! There is a comfort level for everyone! Whether you’d like a place that has up-to-date furnishings, linens, and a spa…..or if you’d like have of your guests to bring their tent or RV! (Another fun option for guests bringing RVs is to check out renting fun camper vans on Outdoorsy! Which is basically like the ‘Airbnb’ of RV rentals!)
Just think, all of your favorite people, your friends and family, sitting by the campfire roasting marshmallows the day before you say I do. It is a pretty romantic idea, and can be done so reasonably when your guests pay their share of the lodging expenses. The venue will be completely yours!
Below is the ultimate guide for venues that can house your guest list for the weekend. Some are retreat centers, some are cabin adventure camps, and some are horse staging facilities! Definitely check out their websites and inquire to learn more!
If you are planning to have a smaller guest count for a micro or intimate wedding, but still would like exclusive access to a luxury glamping venue, then Collective Vail is the ideal spot! This spot is perfect for hosting small and intimate weddings of up to 36 guests.
Located about 2 hours from Denver airport, and 30 mins from Eagle airport, Collective Vail sits close to the quaint ski town of Vail. It is on a ranch with their own winery! I must remind you that this is NOT camping, this…..is true “glamping”. Vail Collective is targeted towards a luxury audience, with their instagramable glamping tents and high thread bed count, as well as their gourmet farm-to-table custom order catering! They are constantly getting nominated for their retreat centers, including in competitions in Travel and Leisure Magazine!
While on site, you can go horseback riding and even wine tasting with the local wines. Wake up to a Mushroom coffee at your tent, and end the day roasting marshmallows by the fire pit. Stargazing is a dream here, as you are fairly remote!
With 18 different guest rooms, the Vail Collective Retreat can host up to 36 guests. This would be the ideal space for a luxury micro or intimate wedding!
There is a 15 minute walk from check-in to your tents, but don’t worry! They provide luggage transport! They are located about 25 mins from Vail Village, so a car is recommended. They do not offer shuttle services. Also note that some tents have private bathrooms, while others have shared bathrooms.
For the tents that have private bathrooms, a 2 night stay will run you around $1,500. For the tents with shared bathrooms, a two night stay will run you around $775. This does not include wedding costs, so please check in about hosting a ceremony on site!

Lower Lake Ranch is a guest ranch that cater to groups, retreats, and even weddings! It is located about 1.5 hours from Denver, and is a few miles away from Conifer. It sits near Staunton State Park surrounded by pine trees and beautiful mountains! Weddings that take place at Lower Lake Ranch are technically hosted by Wedgewood Weddings, a venue company that has 43 unique wedding venues across the country! This one in particular is called Mountain View Ranch…..and if that name doesn’t sell ya, then I’m not sure what will!
While you can have your wedding at Mountain View with not booking lodging, I’m here to chat about the lodging options that Lower Lake Ranch can provide for you! They have 11 cabin rooms, 2 family cabins, and one cottage to rent and can be reserved for 1 or 2 night blocks! By renting out the entire ranch, you can sleep anywhere from 38-58 guests on site!
For locations for your ceremony and reception, the venue has multiple spots for you to choose from! There is a lake, grassy meadows with mountain backdrops, and much more. For receptions, they have a choice of grande banquet rooms, including a rustic barn, and an more modern built barn!
If renting out the entire ranch, the max capacity is 58 guests. Each cabin, room, or cottage has a max, but you may not want to max out every space. The two family cabins can house up to 10 people each, the Cottage can house 8 people, and the cabins can have any where from 2-4 people. There is also a honeymoon suite, which would be perfect for the wedding couple!
There is no wifi on site, due to being so remote in the mountains! Cell service can be spotty, but texting seems to work a bit more reliably. They do not have their liquor license, so you will need to bring in your own. Beer bottles are not allowed, and but beer cans can be brought in. Dogs are not allowed at the venue. Also, keep in mind that since Lower Lake Ranch and Mountain View Weddings are technically two different companies, it is best to book your stay FAR in advance to ensure that you can book a full buyout for guests!
To rent out the entire lodge for guests (11 cabin rooms, 2 family cabins, and the cottage) will range anywhere from $4,000-4,700 per night. You also have the option to do a half-buy out! Which would be 5 cabin rooms, and 2 family cabins, and that goes for $2,800-3,300 per night. These prices are JUST for lodging at Lower Lake Ranch. For wedding costs with Mountain View, there will be additional prices for wedding ceremonies and receptions. Ceremony charges are about $1,500, and the venue for reception can range from $1,000-5,000 depending on time of year.

If you’re looking for a Colorado mountain wedding venue with lodging that can accommodate all of your guests in a camp or retreat style setting, then Puma Hills has it ALL. They have SO many different lodging options from cabins, bubble tents, tipis, and tree tent camping!! They offer single or multi-day experiences for you.
Puma Hills is located southwest of Denver, and about a 1 hour and 45 minute drive from the city. It is in the small town of Lake George and surrounded by all of the best scenery and wildlife that Colorado has to offer. The rivers and mountains connected to the Puma Hills property will have you and your guests occupied for days! On site they even have spaces for group yoga, a horse shoe pit, volleyball, and fire pits! They even have instruments on site such as guitars, fiddles, banjoes, and more!! How cool!
The different lodging options make this spot so fun! A bubble tent with 360 degree view of the surrounding forest!? The styling of all the lodging spaces also makes this venue great. It is super up to date and modern-rustic, with cow hide rugs, sheepskin furs, leather couches, and outdoor cedar shower options! There is even a trained chef on site!
While your guests will be spread out throughout the property, there is a communal lodge hangout area, complete with pool table, bar, and large fire pit for roasting marshmallows at night.
If doing a venue buyout with all of the lodging at the resort, Puma Hills can host up to 75 guests.
Catering for events would need to be additional cost or brought in. BUT! They do have an on-site award winning chef if you’d like to make a custom package for your catering!
To host your wedding ceremony on site, the cost will run anywhere between $5,000-7,000 depending on time of year. This does not include the lodging costs. There is also an additional cost for the Event Center rental. For the “Quintessential Offering” package, which includes a complete 3 day/2 night buyout of the venue, would run about $45,000. Of course it would not be uncommon to ask your guests to pay their share of accommodation.

Arapahoe Valley Ranch is a stunning 150 acre property that sits on the edge of southeastern edge of Lake Granby. It is nestled right underneath the Indian Peaks Wilderness and has its own private lake that is perfect for canoeing, fishing, and paddle boarding!

They have cabins, farmhouse rooms, tipis, and campsites for guests to bring their own RVs! Guests can play all weekend and chill at night by the firepits.
For your wedding, the owners of the ranch are very relaxed and are they to help you bring your vision together! It’s a great spot to really bring together whatever vision you may have, as you can bring in all of your own vendors. The ranch does provide up to 150 chairs and white rectangular banquet tables for you. There is a lovely wedding deck by the water, as well as a pavilion for different areas to say I do!
The Lodge has a second floor that has 5 bedrooms with hot showers and toilets. There is also a “tipi village“! The tipi village contains 5 fully furnished tipis situated in a circle with a giant stone fire pit in the center with hot showers. Along with the tipis, there are 3 furnished canvas glamping tents that are elevated on wooden decks. Other lodging options are the cabins. One cabins is a one bedroom private cabin, while the other is a family 4 bedroom cabin! Both cabins have their own kitchens and outdoor grills. Not many! You can bring your own alcohol, or use their Red Dog Saloon for all your bartending needs! Firewood is even provided for you!

Located right on the edge of Grand Lake on the western side of Rocky Mountain National Park sits 5 acres of precious land that belongs to Colorado Cabin Adventures! The owners of very down to earth and laid back, and even got married themselves on the property’s patio! (What better way to say they love a venue than to get married their too!)
Seth and Cricket (the owners and your hosts) own the adventure cabins and pride themselves on being your guides! They love the magic of the land that the property sits on, and enjoy seeing wildlife like elk and moose make appearances!
Getting together with close family and friends for your wedding is one of the best parts of getting married. To have everyone in one place for a whole weekend can create memories for a lifetime. Being so close to Colorado’s most famous national park (Rocky Mountain National Park) provides you with a plethora of group activities you can do such as hiking, fishing, ATVing, horseback riding, and much more!
If booking the entire resort, Colorado Cabin Adventures can host 56 guests. Of course this is if every cabin and bed is occupied.
Dog friendly!! Since Colorado Cabin Adventures is advertised more as an adventure camp rather than a wedding, they want to remind you that they are not a “wedding venue”. Yes, they do allow weddings, but they will not be providing tables, chairs, and other reception needs. Outside catering and vendors will need to be brought in. That being said, your hosts are very helpful and there for any questions you may have!
For lodging, the cabins for a two night stay can range anywhere from $500-1200. Please contact the owners, Seth and Cricket for wedding event pricing.

Three Peaks Ranch is a family owned modern ranch and wedding venue just outside of Westcliffe, Colorado. Compromised of a few buildings and cabins, this venue is perfect for 6-10 guests to be staying on site! The cabins are modern and up to date, and they are extremely homey. Three Peaks Ranch is about 3 hours driving distance from Denver, nestled underneath a range of snowcapped 14ers including Crestone Peak and Crestone Needle.
The venue, which was recently built, looks like something out of a ranch magazine from Montana. With horses grazing in the wildflowers behind the canvas barn, and the modern styling within the barn walls, this ranch is a true treasure.
Couples can say their “I dos” in the field adjacent to the barn and cabin structures on site, with the snowy Rocky Mountains in the distance. They can also have close family stay on site with them, in the luxury accommodations built by the owners. The canvas barn is a fun space for a dinner reception and dancing, and I love that food trucks are allowed to be used at this venue as well!
For guest lodging, the venue is made up of a few buildings. There is the ‘Main Cabin’ which sleeps two. This would be for the head couple. Then there are two other cabins, which can each sleep 4. So a total of 10 people can be glamping out in this beautiful space!
For the actual wedding event, Three Peaks Ranch has enough chairs, tables, and linens for 200 guests, the venue itself can accommodate up to 200. (100 guests seated inside the canvas tent for reception, with another 100 outside). While this venue might be best suited for smaller events, other guests can stay in town nearby Westcliffe.
Dogs are allowed at Three Peaks Ranch with notice. No open flames or fireworks are allowed due to the area being under strict fire restrictions year round. No glitter or confetti is allowed either. Food trucks ARE allowed. There is a 10pm noise ordinance, but the venue will let you do a silent disco until 11pm! (Fun!). Three Peaks Ranch is specifically targeted as a Colorado wedding venue with lodging, so they will cater to your needs!
For a wedding up to 200 guests, Three Peaks Ranch will let you have the whole weekend to yourself for $10,000! 3 days/2 nights of exclusive use of the ranch up to 200 guests allowed, as well as overnight lodging for 6-10 guests for 2 nights. Tables, chairs, and linens are included in that price. For a smaller wedding of up to 50 guests, a 3 day/2 night wedding with tables, chairs, and linens, will run you $8,000.

Dunton Hot Springs is the ultimate Colorado wedding venue with lodging, as it is a luxury glamping and all-exclusive lodging option for wedding guests. Located about an hour drive southeast of Telluride, this picturesque venue as it all. Instead of a conference wedding venue, this is a more luxury option, where guests can stay on the property all wedding weekend with you in beautiful mountain cabins.
While staying for the weekend nestled in the San Juans of Colorado, guests have plenty of options of activities to do! There is horseback riding, fishing, hiking, or a spa day in the hot springs! The 5-star treatment you and your guests will receive will be so memorable. They will be catered to all weekend, with included 3 meals a day planned by you and your personal chef!
Think Ralph Lauren meets the wild west in the Rocky Mountains. Steaming hot water from the springs and wildlife right in your backyard. It is the ultimate glamping wedding venue! Invite your guests for the time of their lives.
The “town buyout” can lodge up to 44 guests. During summer months, the lodging can be extended to 60 guests with the addition of the Dunton River Camp option.
Summer and Fall seasons have a 3 night minimum, while Winter and Spring seasons have a 2-night minimum. If you plan on having 20 or more guests, a “town buy-out” is also required. (But wouldn’t you want that anyway!?).
Summer and Fall events (peak season) require a 3 night minimum. May 22- Oct 31 will be priced at $31,000 per night, while June 1- Oct 15 can be priced a bit higher with the addition of the Dunton River Camp lodging (putting you up to 60 guests) at $43,000 per night. While this seems steep, remember that this INCLUDES food and beverage, and it is common to ask your guests to “contribute” to their lodging cost.

Found down a dirt road, which takes about 45mins to tackle from Vail, lays the most sought after Colorado wedding venue with lodging that has a view of spectacular mountains! Piney River Ranch. This venue is also a great option for a glamping wedding because of their cute cabins and canvas tents out in the remote wilderness!
Piney River is located about a 45 minute drive north of the fun ski town of Vail, Colorado in the White River National Forest. It is so unique, as it is a privately owned ranch, and only accessible during the summer and early fall months! (The road is closed during the rest of the year). While PRR is capable of hosting larger wedding events, they also allow smaller events, and even offer “ceremony-only” options.
Along with the views, there is a lake on site! Canoe and kayak rentals are available at the main lodge. There are many beautiful trails to hike surrounding the lake, and the aspens turn a vibrant orange in the fall time. Also on site is a restaurant, which caters all of the events at Piney River Ranch.
On site are 9 lodging options! They have 6 cabins (which can sleep a total of 40 people between them) and 3 glamping tents (which sleep 12 people total between them). So in total, up to 52 people! Do keep in mind though, that 52 is the max number. Some cabins may want less people in them for privacy.
Weddings at Piney River can host up to 200 guest count. So if not all your guests can fit on site, they can stay in town at local airbnbs or hotels in Vail!
Dogs ARE allowed. A heads up that the road to Piney is ROUGH. It is a dirt road that can take anywhere from 35-60 minutes to get down. A vehicle that can take the bumps and rockiness of this road is best. All events must conclude by 10pm. Couples must hire a wedding coordinator. String lights are not allowed due to power restrictions. No sparklers or fireworks allowed. Bands ARE allowed. Catering and Beverage service must be provided by PRR. There is no in-house sound system.
For a ceremony only options (Mon-Thurs only), the event rental is $4,500. If you’d like to also have your reception on site, Saturdays are $13,000, Friday and Sundays are $9,600, and Monday-Thursdays are $7,800. Food and beverage costs are not included in these prices, and PRR uses it’s in-house catering. Cabin pricing is also not included.
