I'm so glad you are here to check out some recent work. I'm a Colorado wedding photographer that shoots all around the country. The blog is filled with full wedding and portrait sessions, and includes weddings planning tips and inspiration.
While the entire state of Colorado is overflowing with beautiful mountain top views and flowing rivers edged with wildflowers….there’s something to be said about couples that want to have a downtown Denver engagement session instead. A lot of couples choose this option to be in contrast with their mountain wedding venue. And I love that idea! Downtown Denver is filled with historic brick warehouse buildings with a century worth of stories behind their walls. It’s bustling with business and fun alleyways. So much can be found within just a few short blocks of exploring.
A great central meeting point for all downtown Denver engagements is always going to be Union Station. This train station is turn of the century landmark that sits as a great centerpiece to the city. With a historic facade yet a modern open air track behind it, it sets the scene for some interesting backdrops.
Just nearby is the Oxford Hotel. Originated around the same time as Union Station, the Oxford hotel gives off hints of the Gilded age. Walking from here you can run over to the Dairy Block and find some interesting murals in the alley way. There are numerous bars to run in to for a quick drink mid session as well.
The style for any downtown Denver engagement session would be classy and a hint of high-end. You’re high fashion meets urban. Sassy and fun!
