I'm so glad you are here to check out some recent work. I'm a Colorado wedding photographer that shoots all around the country. The blog is filled with full wedding and portrait sessions, and includes weddings planning tips and inspiration.
Annalise and Oladapo might have won the award for most genuine couple that I photographed in 2024. These two showed so much love, dedication, and collaboration for their wedding weekend. The event started the night before with a large Nigerian welcome party and celebration. Vibrant colors, delicious food, loud music, and lots of traditions and speeches we had to honor the bride and groom. For the morning of the wedding, Annalise had some family members help set up the florals (that were done by herself!!!) and Oladapo pointed out the pattern on this tie matched his bride’s engagement ring style. They showed me the scents they had carefully picked out for their celebration, including the candles they had custom made as wedding favors on all the reception room tables.
When they saw each other for the first time that day, Oladapo could not hold it together! He was so emotional to see his bride, and could literally not keep his eyes off her all day. The BEST surprise of the day though, was during their wedding vows at the ceremony. Annalise had surprised her groom and his family with learning her vows in his native Nigerian language. When the words started to come out of her mouth, his side of the aisle erupted in applause. It showed how much she cared that they intentionally blended their two cultures together as a unit. The rest of the night was one big party, ending with the wedding party dressing back into traditional Nigerian celebration attire for the dance floor! It was a beautiful day and I am so glad I was a part of it! Congrats to the couple!
