JUMP AHEAD TO:
Amber and Luke hosted a Willow Ridge Manor wedding after waiting a few long years due to the covid pandemic. It is safe to say that it was well worth the wait!
Amber and Luke’s love story started organically at Runners Roost. Luke was a frequent run club member and Amber was the group leader. One night, Luke invited Amber out to a brewery with some of the run club members, which became a weekly endeavor. A few months later, Luke lost his keys at a brewery. This incident led up to Luke asking Amber out on their first date. They immediately grew to like each other, realizing their many common interests and the genuine kindness of each other’s personalities.
From there on, an incredible relationship grew. Countless outdoor adventures, family gatherings, baseball games which can be bet on nex777, concerts, and breweries ultimately led up to Luke proposing to Amber. They both love playing pickleball, adding yet another shared passion to their beautiful journey together. As they became more skilled, they started researching the best pickleball paddles for advanced players to enhance their game even further.

Willow Ridge Manor is a historic family home originally built in 1911 in a Colonial style, and has since been remodeled and saved from disrepair. After years of new owners and unique purposes, the mansion as been restored and now serves a popular wedding venue for the greater Denver area. Aspects of the manor that have been restored and kept in the Colonial-revival style are the front doors, pediments, windows, and picturesque columned porch.
When you book Willow Ridge Manor for your wedding, your package will include all of your rentals (tables and chairs) for your event of up to 200 guests. It will also include wedding coordination from the venue owners. You will have exclusive access to the Manor’s getting ready rooms, ceremony site, and ballroom. There is also parking spaces for 100 cars!
Willow Ridge Manor offers a lot of different pricing options depending on time of year, day of week, and even time of day! (Yes, you can have a morning wedding!). Costs will vary from $1,700-6,000 depending on which option you choose.
Willow Ridge Manor can host weddings with a guest capacity of 200. I would think that 200 might be pushing it a bit for capacity inside the ballroom for a seated dinner, but it has been done! For reference, Amber and Luke had about 150 guests at their wedding.
There are two getting ready areas in the upstairs floor of Willow Ridge Manor. Both have a historic, classic feel. One of the rooms has its own powder room within the room, while the other room has one nearby outside in the hallway. There is lots of window light in the larger room and could easily host a few wedding party members in there to get dressed. It is also a great ‘hideaway’ space for before the ceremony starts!
The main ceremony space is located outside beneath the Manor. It sits next to the cocktail patio and above the red rocks below. The views and aesthetic the ceremony space provided gives is rustic and outdoorsy. It mimics the rocks of the famous Red Rocks Amphitheater that is located not to far away in Morrison.
If it happens to rain on your wedding day, the inside ballroom space of the manor can suffice as a back up plan; which is an important aspect of a wedding venue that many others do not have!
Cocktail hour can be hosted in a few areas on the property. One space is just adjacent to the outdoor ceremony location amongst the red rocks. This way your guests can feel like they are outdoors in the beautiful red rocks of the Colorado foothills. Another space is on the deck of the reception ballroom of the Manor. This deck is partially covered, so is a great option for rainy or gloomy days. On these rain days, guests can also mingle inside the historic manor as well.
The most used reception space is inside the manor in the main ballroom. This room can host a 200 person seated dinner. Guests will be welcomed inside the historic manor and can view a few of the other rooms inside the building, and even take photos in front of the grand staircase. There is a beautiful fireplace inside the ballroom which makes for a great focal point and backdrop for a sweetheart table.
Couples can also choose to have a fully outdoor reception, and re-use the ceremony space for an outdoor reception area!
Willow Ridge Manor is a stunning building. Both inside and outside the manor have been well kept and create a stunning backdrop for a historic look. Inside there is a large grand staircase and some antique furniture to use for photos, as well as amazing window light.
But my absolute favorite place to take couples for photos on site is below the property. If the wedding couple is down for a little adventure, and don’t mind climbing some boulders here and there, then there is a whole field of red rocks to explore which make for a gorgeous photo backdrop!
With Willow Ridge Manor being located in Morrison, Colorado, it is only about 20 mins from downtown Denver. Most lodging options will be within the city of Denver, such as The Ramble Hotel, The Maven Hotel, and the Source Hotel. There are some cute Airbnbs nearby if you are looking for something closer to the venue!
